Steve Jordan gets the nod due to being one of the NFL’s best tight ends for a prolonged period and making six Pro Bowls. Jordan earned the ultimate Vikings honor when he became in 2019 the first tight end in their Ring of Honor.

Rudolph, 31 entering the 2021 season, looked to potentially have time on his side to catch Jordan in the Vikings’ record book. But Rudolph was released by the Vikings in March 2021 in a salary-related move and signed with the New York Giants. So unless Rudolph one day returns to Minnesota, he will finish 45 catches shy of Jordan’s team record of 498 for a tight end and 1,819 behind his yardage record. Regardless, Rudolph eventually figures to join Jordan in the Ring of Honor.
